Jeana Clark, a member of ATA (American Translators Association) and IITA (Iowa Interpreters and Translators Association), has been a full-time, freelance German>English translator since founding Clark Translations in April 2003. 

While attending Central College in Pella, IA and majoring in German and International Business Management, she participated in the Vienna Study Abroad Program, which involved attending the University of Vienna-Institute of Translation/Interpretation and interning at NCR Austria. After graduating, she began working for a local law firm, which a couple of years later became the first client of Clark Translations. 

Aside from translating, her biggest passion is to spread appreciation and enthusiasm for languages and cultures. In keeping with this passion, she is an active volunteer with YFU USA (Youth for Understanding), which is one of the oldest, largest, and most respected international exchange programs for high school students.
